Error message when My Weblog Posts folder is not available RRS feed

  • Loving the new beta! However, when I moved my "Documents" folder to a network share then became disconnected from the network Writer will crash on startup since the My Weblog Posts folder is not available. The crashing is easily fixed by reconnecting to the network, but this looks like a good spot for a more friendly error message.

    First, let me apologize that we have not replied directly to your post sooner.  We appreciate you using Writer and taking the time to send feedback.

    The issue you report is known, Writer will not work with offline folders.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  We will consider addressing this issue in a future release.
