Problem with downloading recommended updates RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • OneCare says there are three recommended updates.  Two are security patches that say that they are already downloaded and ready to install and one is a masive update to software I never use that says that it will take 12-1/2 hrs to download.  When I initiate the updates, OneCare invariably starts with the huge one which never successfully downloads and fails to install the two security patches.

How can I control the order of updates?  Is there some other way of getting around this problem?

    Thank you,

  • Kyle, if these are important or critical updates, they must be installed for OneCare to stop nagging you, unfortunately.
There may be an alternative for the large download, depending on what it is for, to get it on disc.
