Training a large group RRS feed

  • Question

  • At times, you may have come across a situation where you have to teach a large batch of students (50),  in a class room( lab) set-up say in using Office tools ( MS-excel or MS-Project). How do you manage it more effectively? In addition to using projector, public address system etc. did you use a screen sharing software? Pl share your experiences and suggestions.

    Thanks in Advance

  • For classes that large I used top quality projection equipment so that you can display the screen large enough and with enough lumens so everyone can read it without turning out the lights.  We also employed lab proctors (additional trainers) who helped out when students were doing labs.  We added one additional proctor for each group of 15-20 students (depending on the lab difficulty).  We did not use screen sharing software.
