PS 2010 - Export Datagrid to MS Excel

Question
-
Dear Folks,
When I export datagrid data to MS Excel, it exports but without formatting and indicators. Infact data export without any formatting and indicators.
Also Receive following error msg:
---------------------------
Microsoft Excel
---------------------------
The file you are trying to open, 'ExportGridExcel.xls', is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------
Can anyone look into this and let me know the fix.
many thanks

I answered this question for you once already. Asking again will not get you a different answer. When you export a PWA data grid to Excel, the system exports only the underlying data, and does not export any formatting or graphical indicators. There is no way to force it to behave as you wish.
Furthermore, to maintain compatibility with Excel for users who have Excel 2003 (there are still people out there who use it), the default file type for the data export is Excel 97-2003. That is what triggers the warning you quote. In that dialog, simply click the Yes button and the system will perform the export.
The behavior you see is NOT a bug, so obviously there is no fix for it since it is default behavior. Hope this helps.
