Hi,
You need to modify the SiteMap to add the link to your navigation.
Is your "Sale manager dashboard" report a SSRS in CRM?

Every report was a web address associated to it. To reveal it, run the report and hit F11. This displays the IE address bar.
Once you have this, go to Settings-Customization-Export Customizations and export the Site Map.
Take a copy in case things go badly and you can then reverse out the changes.
This is an XML file. The simplest way to work with it is with a tool such as XMLNotepad (http://www.microsoft.com/DownLoads/details.aspx?FamilyID=72d6aa49-787d-4118-ba5f-4f30fe913628&displaylang=en).
I'd probably copy and existing entry and adjust as required.
Once done, go to Settings-Customization-Import Customizations and follow the prompts.
That should be it. you may need to close down the client and restart but your changes should come through.

I'm really not sure what an SSRS is. New to CRM. It is just listed in the reports menu with all the other standard reports. How do I get to the site map?Tuesday, October 20, 2009 7:52 PM
