jpeg files open up itunes?

  When someone sends an email to me on my Microsoft outlook email address with an jpeg attachment when I open it itunes opens instead of wndow viewer. I donot know how to switch nor can comcast help me with this.
  I do this diagnostics test and my inbound and out bound sever fail.
