Problems with activation Win 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is a MS/Schools agreement copy that was d/l. I have the serial number and now I am getting the activation message. I did an upgrade to Win XP (also under the same agreement) Will I have this problem when I run the install on all our computers?

  • I may have it sorted now. I right clicked My Computer/Properties and choose to re-enter my serial number and it gave me the message that it has been activated. (After going on line to do so). The message in lower righthand corner has gone too.

KMS has been giving me messages since the upgrade.

    Thanks for your help

Good - KMS licenses need to be re-activated every month or so, by the server they are attached to, so you'll need to make sure that you keep up-to-scratch with that. If you plan on being away from the server for longer than that, you should contact your System Administrator for advice.

See the last line of the part I copied for the action you should take - it looks like the KMS Server is complaining about something.
