I always was able to import video that I burned to a DVD. The videos are mine and I wanted to be able to make shorter clips as I've been doing for as long as I can remember. I am able to import the file from the DVD but it is corrupt. The video is a thin strip in the center of the screen. I've tried many DVDs that are my own creations but it won't accept any of the files I try to import. I updated to Windows Movie Maker 2.6 and it does the same thing. Have they put a block on using WMM to copy from a DVD? I was never able to copy from a store bought movie because there is obviously a block so that can't be done. Does anyone have a clue?
Thanks Ward
