Hi I backed up my laptop computer twice several months ago: once using a jillion CDs and the other using 5 DVD discs. I labeled each disc as it came out of the drive. I had to replace my computer's hard drive and have been trying to reinstall the OneCare backup I did. BOTH sets of backup that I have won't work. I put in Disc One and it says, in the drive informaton, that it is Disc 2. It leads me through all the steps anyway: choose where I want the info to be stored, what files I want restored, etc. But when it comes time to actually DO it, an error message pops up and tells me to install Disc 1. I don't understand what's going on! The big problem I'm having here is that last year's tax information is on the discs and I MUST have it! What do I do?! Please help! Thanks
Disc one would be the first disc that was used for a new, Full backup. The fact that you used CDs and DVDs leads me to believe that you did 2 full backups. If you are having trouble restoring from either set, please contact support.
