CRM2011 Outlook tracking sets "other accounts" into CC -field RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a case where my Customer has "tracked" an email with outlooks "set regarding" functionality. When I look this email activity, which has been created in CRM I see that CC -field is filled for many other accounts, which are not related to this Customer.

    Now  my questions is: what logic is used when setting the CC field ? How to avoid this ?

  • any Contact/Account/Lead that matched the email will be associated.  I would check each of these records and see if the email is the same.

  • Thank you - This resolved it partly as same email make this email to be connected to all customer with same email address.

    However my question was about populated CC -field ? I do not understand why tracking would put something to CC field - that has not been en original EMAIL in outlook. I need to verify this thou as I have not yet seen the original outlook email.
