    Hi,

    I have deployed the customer portal into On-premise version of CRM.

    I have changed the code to support the same using the link http://www.shanmcarthur.net/crm/developers-corner/customer-portal-modifications-for-demo-vpc-without-internet-connectivity.

    I also configured the ASP NET membership provider for the same.

    Now, the problem is it is working for some contacts and not for some contacts. I checked all the related entities information for the contact and also compared the contacts records for which it is working vs not working. All are similar including the related entity information.

    Can you help me in identifying the problem i this...

    OR

    I am trying to use the active directory instead of ASPNET SQL membership provider, but not through. Can you please help me in setting up the connection string.

    Hi,

    The problem has been resolved by closing all the instances of Visual studio. The reason could be the membership database is kind of lock state while i am trying to login into the portal, i am not sure about this.
