Hi,
You can set the Task. Appointments and other activities reminder time in CRM. There is no standard functionality available in CRM.

Hi,
In CRM Web clientthere is no funcitonality for reminders, you may use third party developed applications i.e. http://www.c360.com/Reminder.aspx but in outlook client the reminders windows wills how reminder after synchronizing activities.
For outlook reminders you may need to check data filter (CRM Synchronizations) settings: In Outlook, click on File->CRM->Synchronize->Outlook Filters and make sure that filters are activated.

Thanks!
But only if you use Outlook Form...
I can't find an attribute for reminder in CRM. Right?

If you are using CRM Outlook Client instead of web then after synchornizing activites with Outlook, the Outlook will show you reminder because CRM web client can not support showing reminders.

Thanks, but where can I set the reminder properties (15 minutes before or 2 days before)?Thursday, July 7, 2011 8:12 AM

Hi,
Reminder time will be set as outlook default reminder time of 15 minutes but you change default outlook reimder time:
In Outlook 2007, all you need to do is:
- Click on “Tools”
- Click on “Options”
- Look on the “Preferences” tab, in the “Calendar” section (second from the top)
- Select your preferred reminder time from the drop down box.
- Click ok
I believe this answers your quesiton.

Yes, I found it out now. You have to activat reminders on appointmens and tasks in Outlook. So every activity takes the standard reminders from Outlook. So it works...
But, it's a pity that we cannot change that in CRM, because sometimes I want another reminder time than standard....
