Custom tabs – local intranet / trusted site issue

  ::..Hi guys

   

  We are wishing for an environment where the tab config xml and tab content are located on a webserver that are being seen as local intranet zone for the clients, so that we do not have to update thousands of clients trusted site config. Seems strange that local intranet zones are not allowed for tab config and content in the communicator.

   

  Anyone know a workaround to allow local intranet zones for tab config / content ?
