Flaging, Taging Our Activities on Social.MSDN.Microsoft.com

    Question

  • Hello All,

When we view our activity (see https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/<Your Username Goes Here>/activity), we are not able to track activity that we need to come back to later on.  In addition, only part of the information is viewable in the list so we have to click on each one to get superficial information.

Can we enhance the activity page so we can flag, tag or some how place a useful identifier on our activity so we can find it faster in the future.  The more we contribute, the more likely we have to track individual links to stuff we are watching via other means like favorites; which can become noisy or lost when our profile gets whacked.

All replies

  • Years ago (2009 and earlier) in the old newsgroups, we could flag any thread as one we were "watching". Then the title showed in red. We could track these threads without the need to reply, so we could follow the discussion (and learn from it) even if we couldn't really contribute ourselves. I miss this feature.

  • I agree.... miss the old NNTP groups and Outlook Express. You also had offline copies of messages you posted. I guess the forums bridge could still provide this functionality.
