Built-in Bluetooth Adapters

    Question

  •  I have a Gateway S X 2865 that came with Bluetooth built-in adapter. I've had my pc for @31/2 years and never knew that companies added that to the computers and didn't say anything, But after looking around in my PC, I found out also more systems to set and start up anytime if I need to. I want to know why there's a message that says it may hurt the external one that you might be using. So if you start it up , then turn it off, you may loose both systems but why? Thank You, DoYouThink...

  • Hello,

If I understand correctly, you're wondering why Gateway added a Bluetooth adapter?

    if so, I'd ask Gateway.

Microsoft has limited (read, almost zilch) say in what hardware the computer manufacturer uses.

Further questions relating to Microsoft's operating system, if any, should be asked in the Windows forum on Microsoft Community.

As the Microsoft Community is on a different platform, we cannot move the question for you.
