Internet Explorer RRS feed

  • I have recently installed a BT Hub3 connected by ethernet.  I now continually get "Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close".  "Please tell Microsoft about this problem".  I have, dozens and dozens of times.  Makes no difference.  Bt have confirmed nothing wrong with connection.   HELP, HELP.

  • Hello MIGU984EL.

    The problem could be due to several reasons: I suggest you to check the Windows "Application" log in the Event Viewer to see if there's any record related to ths problem that can provide you with more detailed informations.
    According to what you wrote, it could be a conflict between some Internet Explorer add-on and the hub drivers.

    Looked in "Event Viewer".  Main repeating comment is "Application Error 1000 (or 1001).

    Run all "Fix IT" choices.  Nothing fixes it.
