Windows 7 Ultimate Not Genuine Message

Question
-
I have recently purchased a Dell OptiPlex 745 with Windows 7 Ultimate. The previous owner insists that it was properly activated. But, I am now receiving a message that it needs activating or is not genuine. I believe the owner is legitimate and something must have gone wrong. Can you help me? Here is my diagnostic report:

This install is counterfeit. It is an OEM install on a system that was built three YEARS before Windows 7 was released! You need to purchase a legal copy of Windows, format your drive and reinstall. Be sure to back up your data first.
