Win7 Ultimate suddenly failing WGA validation

Question
-
This was purchased some time back in 2010 from ebay (stupid, I know :-(...). Passed authentication upon original install and has worked flawlessly until a couple of days ago, at which point I got the dreaded black screen with 7601 error message. Initially I thought this might have been virus-related, so I tried a clean re-install of the OS; now I get a message that my product key has been blacklisted when I try to activate over the web. I ran the MGADiag thingy and this is what I got:

Unfortunately, the installed license for your installed copy of Windows 7 Ultimate was taken from a not-for-resale MSDN Subscription account. The license has now been declared non-genuine. You'll need to replace the license with a genuine Windows 7 "Full Version" license. Example: Windows 7 Ultimate.

Hi there, thank you very much for your reply. I did a bit of reading through the forum while waiting for a response, so I guess I was mentally prepared for the news. I found Noel D. Paton's reply at this thread to be particularly informative, especially the attached youtube video:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinewindows7/thread/f17472ef-d721-4ca4-9acc-95ab687b2716
I also searched through my files and managed to locate both the purchase confirmation email I got from ebay (with company title & physical address of the seller included) and the email receipt I got from PayPal for the purchase, so I guess it all gets printed and shipped off to Microsoft together with the counterfeit piece of software. Thanks again for your help - have a nice evening :-)
