Ethernet Controller and Multimedia Audio Controller [ARE CORRUPT] not working, even when I trouble shoot... HELP! D:

Question
-
Ever since my computer crashed [windows xp], and had all its memory wiped and now my Ethernet Controller does not work. The Multimedia Audio Controller does not work either.
Anyways, the way I found out that these two wont working was when I noticed that i had no audio comming from my speakers. No sound whatsoever comes out from it. All that the noise I hear is comming out from the computer making beeping noises.
I have tried to fix it by clicking troubleshoot and following their instructions, but they dont seem to work.
I think I need to install a new devices for them to work, but I'm not sure what or how or anything.
I need help from somone who knows these things... So help me please? D:

I don't know what an Ethernet Controller is but my Multimedia Audio Controller is messed up as well. It plays absolutely NO SOUND, excent once in a while i get an annoying "beep", like when some kind of an error window pops up. I'm dying without music

I had that same problem. You would actually have to go to the manufacturer's website and download the ethernet and multimedia drivers because it seems that Microsoft no longer has them. I dunno why but yeah, going to whomever made your motherboard's website would be your best bet.Thursday, September 3, 2009 8:33 PM
