Hello 11909,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:

Right now your computer has a Volume Licensing installation of Office 2003 Professional installed, and this installation was done with a widely-pirated and now-blocked Volume Licensing Key (VLK). Microsoft blocks VLKs when the key has been lost, stolen, compromised, or when the associated Volume Licensing Agreement is no longer in effect, or if otherwise misappropriated for software piracy reasons.
You may be using a Volume Licensing edition of Office because of your association with a larger business, educational, or governmental organization. If so, please contact the tech support people within the organization to have them help you with correcting the Blocked VLK situation.
They should use a keyfinding utility (such as the Magical Jellybean Keyfinder) to extract the product key from the current installation of Office. Then they should compare it to their current and valid Volume Licensing Product Key issued by Microsoft. Assuming that the product keys are different, they will next try to change the nongenuine product key to their genuine product key. They can do this by using a third party utility, or by following the instructions in this MS KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/895456

N/AThis is the results of the diagnostics tool for Office. Office 2003 is licensed through my employer with a corporate license. I use the software on my home PC and laptop when I work at home. What is the procedure for proving it is a genuine copy with proper licensing?

Hello 11909,
I read your last post as saying that the product key used to install the Office Professional 2003 installation on the computer that generated the posted report is the same product key that was issued to your company.
Is that correct?
Then the product key (edited for security) would be this: ****8-****P-****4-****T-3HFDY
Please be informed that this product key is the first or second most widely pirated Office product key ever. This product key was issued by Microsoft to itself for use on its own installations of Office 2003. This product key was never issued to any other company or organization.
May I ask what makes you believe that this product key was issued to your company?

Following your last post; I ran the keyfinder at work and did indeed find a different product key. However, the copy of MS Office on my home computers, what I thought to be valid copies, were obtained from our outside technical support company. When questioned they indicated the tech who gave us "valid" copies of our software for safekeeping was no longer with their company. They advised me to destroy the copies.
Thanks for your assistance.Wednesday, October 28, 2009 8:39 PM
