The given key was not present in the dictionary - Microsoft Sync Framework RRS feed

  • hello, I am currently trying to set up a database using microsoft sync
    framework, I can get the data synchronization dialog box up and running as
    well, I am able to set up the databases with out error, but when i click ok
    to complete it, a dialog box comes up saying "the given key was not
    presented in the dictionary".
    I am not able to proceed further.
    Please assist me.

    Which provider are you using (are you writing your own one)?
    Also, can you please tell us more about your environment?

    My server database is SQL Server 2008 and client is SQL CE.

  • Try reinstalling the Visual Studio SP 1 again, that should fix it. I had the same problem and SP1 fixed it.
