Windows 10 V1511 SAFE MODE RRS feed

  • Question

  • When in "SAFE MODE", "CHOOSE AN OPTION" screen, "CHOOSE YOUR KEYBOARD" does NOT work in any sub menu option when selected.

You get a blue screen inviting you to select a language, with a "more options" line at the bottom of the screen.

No key presses work using either a USB keyboard and USB mouse or a PS2 keyboard and USB mouse.

Only way out is to SWITCH OFF, or to press the RESET button on the PC case.

All operations work if selected from within Windows 10 environment.

Looks like another bug with missing drivers or necessary files in SAFE MODE.

For Christ's sake Microsoft, bring back an updated Windows 7 operating system that WORKS properly.

  • Hello,

The Windows Desktop Perfmon and Diagnostic tools forum is to discuss performance monitor (perfmon), resource monitor (resmon), and task manager, focusing on HOW-TO, Errors/Problems, and usage scenarios.

As the question is off topic here, I am moving it to the Where is the Forum... forum.

    Karl
