    What is the best way to hide certain records by user, user's team and user's business unit?

    For example, if for a franchise model of business, what will be the best way to only show records for user A from shop location A, only show records for user B from shop location B?

    This "filter" should work across the whole CRM web and apply to views, advanced find, lookup view, etc.

    Hi Jamie, CRM's security model should cope with this pretty easily. You need one business unit per franchise. A user's security role should provide privileges only for records in the user's business unit.
