WHS Connector Software and TCP/IP RRS feed

  • After installing the Connector software on a client PC I lose connectivity to the WHS machine and the Internet from my client machine. If I disable then enable my ethernet card I can once again get an IP address via DHCP from my router. If I choose to repair the connection an error pops up stating that "TCP/IP is not enabled, contact you network administrator."

    This has never happen prior to the client software installation. Uninstalling the software did not resolve this issue.

  • Found the fix: I didn't realize I had a network bridge installed. Once I uninstalled that the issue was resolved.
