Office XP Pro, validated, not activated, but help reports it is!

Question

Below please find the Diagnostic Report
My Genuine copy of Office XP: IS activated according to HELP, Activate Product, but of course since installing the HIGH PRIORITY Microsoft Genuine (Dis)Advantage update I'm being assured my legitmate copy of Office XP is not activated. And when I try to activate on the web, again I'm assured my beautiful three pack of laser etched CD's with two keys, one for office, and one for Publisher 2002, is NOT a valid copy of Office, Hmmm.
I have owned this Gateway produced machine since 6/11/02. Any suggestions made about "illegitimate" software or keys therefore are accusations against Gateway, and I hope Gateway takes them seriously.
I have just finished one weeks worth of recovery efforts, due to an large corruption of the windows directory IMMEDIATELY after MICROSOFT Security Essentials updated its definitions. Immediately after this MSE update NUMEROUS windows DLL's were corrupted (Ther are reports of other disk corruptsion by MSE). In efforts to make sure this never happened again I was following the MSE suggestions, setting my clock more accurately and perhaps installing Root Certificate Update Update for Root Certificates [November 2009] (KB931125). After installing this update I now saw the HIGH priority update Office Genuine Advantage Notifications (KB949810) was required.
After this update Office Validations problems began.
SO NOW, I have a PC that MSE may corrupt again, and, an Office XP I'm told is not validly installed.
Microsoft please contact Gateway resolve these issues between your two corporations and get back to me with a straight forward simple fix or release yet another update that fixes this problem.
If the fix is as simple as editing a registry key with the product key from my packages I'm willing to do this. Please provide a PINNED post with detailed instruction on how to do this.
Now I must get back to thoroughly documenting my Event logs that clearly demostrate Microsoft Security Essentials corrupted Windows XP! Of course there is another haphazard form one must fill in in which the poster of the form cannot provide essential information in the initial contact with Microsoft, so immediately there is misunderstanding and "dismisal" of the problem.

Hello
Wow, allot of text just to say your 'Office is asking to Activate but when you try to activate it says it's already activated'.
Please see support doc "How to troubleshoot problems that you may experience when you try to activate an Office product" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903275 scroll down to Method 2 and try the "Fix it for me" section. If that doesn't work, try the manual steps.
Thank you,
