  • Question

  • I have 2 locations one in FL and one in OK.

both locations use 3 digit phone extensions (FL = 400's and OK = 200's)
Since there was no overlap I assumed that one dialplan was all i needed however when i goto ocs to setup my locations their will only be one dialplan to deal with how will ocs know that when i dial 434-5555 (FL prefix) that OK will know to dial 850 area code while people in FL will not need to dial that.

Can I have 2 location with 1 dial plan?

    I hope this makes sense.

BTW OCS R2 on Server 2008 with Exchange 07 SP1

  • If you have different rules for both locations you really need two location profiles
A location profile is a dial plan!
