WGA will not finish installing.

Question
-
I just pulled a brand new Dell PC out of the box and started it doing windows updates. A few of the updates installed then it got to the "Windows Genuine Disadvantage" and no matter what I do, it will not finish the install so I can't finish the Windows Updates. I even did the on-line validation: "Start|My Documents|Help|Is this copy of Windows legal?" This finished and it thanked me for validating my copy of Windows. However, after a restart, I'm right back where I started, unable to do any updates and with the WGA window wanting to install (and not finish) every time I start the PC.
The WGA installer gets stuck when it says: "Running Processes After Install."
This same thing happened to me at home with a PC I got from Best Buy a few months ago, but at home I just turned off the Updates and decided to buy Macs from now on. Here at work I can't do that, I need to get these updates installed before putting this PC out in the unit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello EricDunn,
WGA and OGA need the task scheduler service. Did you turn it off?
Also, lose the proxy while doing the Update, then re-establish when done.

Thanks for the response.
Task Scheduler is currently set to: Status = Started | Startup Type = Automatic.
As far as the proxy goes, there is no way i can by pass it. If I turn it off I can't access Windows Updates.
