Workflow not sending email RRS feed

  • Will workflow send an email if the sender of the email is not Admin and is having a role where sending email is not permitted

    > The email router is used.

    > The creator of the workflow has Admin access.

    > The creator of the workflow can send emails on other's behalf.

    > The receipient emails are correct and valid.

    > Allow sending email to unresolved recipients is not checked.

  • The sender of the email should have set the 'allow other users to send emails on your behalf". Looks like you have set this for the workflow creator and not the email sender. The sender need not be an admin.

  • Is it possible to verify personal settings of the user (for above) if I am CRM Admin?

  • using OOB CRM you cannot edit/view other user's personal options even if you are the system administrator. You should be able to view these details in the database. There is a tool that you allows to bulk edit user settings. You can try it @ http://crm2011usersettings.codeplex.com/
