Create custom group for custom buttons in crm 2011 using ribbon workbench RRS feed

  • Hi Guys,

    Is it possible from ribbon workbench can we create custom group for custom buttons in crm 2011. Please suggest any link for the same.

  • Hi,

    Yes, you can use the Ribbon Workbench to add a custom group - you simply need to:

    1. Create a solution with the entity you want to customise and load that into the Ribbon Workbench

    2. Open the Ribbon (Form/Sub-grid or homepage) using the drop down in the top right of the design surface

    3. Drag a 'Group' onto the ribbon from the toolbox and give it a name.

    4. Drag buttons into the new group.

    5. Publish.
