Windows 7 Home Premium Edition RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm in the market for a new PC almost all of them come with Windows 7 Premium Home Edition.  The sales people are telling me that I'll need to buy Windows Professional Edition if I intend to use any of my existing software like Word, Word Perfect, Microsoft Suite, Photoshop or any games that I may have used on my XP.  Is this true? Do I really need the professional Edition or are they trying to sell me something I really don't need.  Just what does productivity software mean when it comes to what will and won't run on Windows 7 premium home edition.
