How to make Sysprep changes manually in Windows 7?

Question
-
Hi,
I am interested in making the changes made by sysprep but manually in Windows 7, for a backup of an operating system that I have and I do not have the original hardware.
For this reason I need to make the changes manually editing the registry, files and making the same changes as sysprep, but I do not know if there is any documentation on the changes that need to be made.
I await your prompt reply.
Thank you.

This is "where is" forum for direction on where best to ask questions. I'd try re-asking for help in one of the forums I linked.
