Protected, no? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I, too, am having the same difficulties.   I have followed the moderator's instructions.  I have been unsucessfull so far.  Now I have message that it has expired and some OneCare components disabled.  I checked security settings in control panel and it showed all OneCare components 'on'.  With the red button still illuminated and warnings, I think this program is has issues.  Am I protected, no?

  • Since you started a new thread in a closed folder (I'm moving the post), I don't know what the original problem was.

However, based on your description, it appears that your subscription has expired and you need to renew. If you upgraded from 1.6 to 2.0 recently, this may be a false error and happens in some rare cases on the upgrade. You will need to reinstall OneCare to bring it back into your subscription and activated.

If you need help with this, contact support.
