  • A little more info is needed.  That is, are you interested in learning/working on desktops and servers, or???  Additionally, what experience do you have?  i.e. any experience in repairing PC's, networking or ???

  • i am more or less in the same boat .. i have been doing help desk and support found two exams/course you might be interested in:

course 2261 (supporting users running xp OS)$349.00

and course 2262(supporting users running Apps on Xp os)$349.00

but i am also struggling on finding a "Brochure" of information on sylabuses and course information such as cost ?

is there a specific link that anyone knows to a list of courses/exams ?
possible lecture based or online course.
from which you are able to prove that you have learnt and "qualify" if possible..

can you get certified by e-learning.

also if you are a partner with microsoft what benefits am i entailed to ..

    many thanks

  • firstly ,I think you can get some experience in your interested technology ,at the same time you can consider applying for MCSE exams .
As ,MCSE certification is popular among those embarking on their IT career.

besides ,I think this article mcse:best suit for green hand in IT. is useful for u.

  • Thanks for the article ... interesting to say the least .
.is there anything like a Microsoft Aptitude test would anyone know ?

such a test might point me and others in the right direction .

.i have taken one before and it said a software engineer and systems engineer..

Those are both MCSE related .. any ideas on which exam to start with first bearing in mind cost and experience needed.

    thank you once again :)

  • en ,thank for your word,
Firstly ,I think I am honored to help you .
I think I never have heard the test micosoft aptitude test before ,but I think maybe the following test is useful for u to find your  right direction .

personnally, the certification MCSE on Windows Server 2003 is good  for u .And if you passed the corresponding exams ,you could upgrade your mcse 2003 to Server 2008 exams.

besides ,I think you should make your choice which technology or certification you 'll be interested in .
    hope it useful for u

  • if you want to get mcsa first ,
in my opinion ,you can pass 70-290 or 70-291 firstly

,according as your words ,then I think you can consider about
Exam 70-691: TS: Windows HPC Server 2008, Developing
Exam 70-690: TS: Windows HPC Server 2008, Configuring and Managing,
    hope it useful for u.
