CRM 2013 - Unable to qualify Lead to an Opportunity. RRS feed

    Hi all,

    My question is, does a User needs to be an owner of a Lead and have full read/write/ on all leads & Opportunity for him to qualify a lead?

    Because in my situation, the person who should qualify a lead do not necessary be the owner and that he should  not be able to see others leads.  He should be able to qualify leads that have been share with him.

    Anyone, can clarrify/comments pls.

    Qualifying another user's Lead requires permission to create and associate Contacts, Accounts and Opportunities on behalf of the other party.  Depending on your BU structure, you may need to grant Organization-wide permissions on Create, Write, Append and Append To.

    Thanks.

    All my users are in same BU.

    I have shared the leads to another user for Qualifying the leads, still i am getting error.

    If i give organization wide permission, the user will be able to see other users leads (which have not been shared with him also).

    Grateful to provide a suggestion how to implement it.  That is, UserA send leads to his manager(managerA) for qualification and upon qualification, assign the qualified Opportunity to another userB. 

    And ManagerB should not be able to see the leads which have been sent to ManagerA.
