User Mapping Error Upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All

I am getting the below error message when I try to map Users from the old database to the new database.

It would be great if you can provide the solution for this.

You must map your Active Directory user account to at least one enabled Microsoft Dynamics CRM user who has the System Administrator role before the organization can be imported.

    Thanks

  • The user doing the import needs to be mapped to an existing user in the organisation. If it's not too late you should add the user into the 2011 org before taking the db backup, otherwise you'll have to map to another user.

  • Thanks, I solved the problem and I am getting another error as showed below. I was trying to import the orgnization using service acccount which already add as DB Owner for the DB.

    Thanks
