WGA Loop Of Death RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just tried to install the latest WGA and it just ends in a CPU death loop.

    CPU at 100%

    Disk drive is idle.

    Stats courtesy of perfmon.

I tried the download when the KB had the same effect.,

Machine is clearly genuine, it is a Federal computer and they have huge site license.

  • Bill,

Yes please work with your systems administrator as Dan mentioned. Federal computer systems are handled differently than corporate systems as there are different rule and guidlines. Depending if it is a military computer or Federal civilian system work with whom ever is assigned in your organization to work this out.

    Take care,

    Stephen
