Windows Validation Fails RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I set up a PC running Vista Buisness 13 months ago.  It was in use until January of this year.  I need to use that machine again, but now validation is failing.  This install was activated using a MAK.  The MAK claims all licenses are in use.  That should not be the case as the machine was used successfully for seven months.

The error code is 0xC004C020 and the description is "The activation server reported that the Mulitple Activation Key has exceeded its limit."

Thanks in advance for all help!

  • According to your MGA report, you have an Enterprise volume license version of Windows Vista Business installed.  You'll need to contact your IT administrator for assistance.
