Odd Behavior with Live Meeting and authentication RRS feed

  • I've noticed that if you've ever logged into OC, LM requires authentication to join a local LM, even if it's anonymous.  This includes even after OC is uninstalled.

    How to reproduce:
    1. Install OC07 and LM
    2. Log into OC07 and start an LM
    3. Log off OC/LM
    4. Uninstall OC07 but leave LM
    5. Try to join an anonymous LM
    6. TADA: Authentication required
Has anyone else experienced this behavior?  My assumption is that LM remembers the information, even after OC is uninstalled, or that OC leaves the reg keys in place that tell LM.  In my case, the machine was not on the domain, so the user should be legitimately treated as anonymous.  When I switched to another user on the machine that had not used OC, I was able to join the LM anonymously.
