Problem with Single Sign On with ASP.NET website and CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

We have CRM 2011 hosted On-Premises with IFD configured and it is working fine. Now we are trying to use aspx pages in our CRM and we built a separate website.

I followed the Microsoft article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg509057 to start with.

Below are the steps i followed

    1. Create the web site
    2. Add to STS
    3. Use existing STS
    4. Fedaration XML path which we used in CRM IFD configuration
    5. Encrypted and certificate used for CRM IFD was used
    6. Publish the website
    7. Deployed it to IIS which has a public url binding. Ex. https://portal.domainname.com/
    8. On ADFS server, ADFS 2.0 Management console clicked on Add Relying Party trust
    9. Federation XML used here is the one which we get from step 7 i.e, https://portal.domainname.com/FederationMetadata/2007-06/FedarationMetadata.xml
    10. Added Cliam Rules as mentioned in above article and Implementation Guide

When I browse the url https://portal.domainname.com/ it is showing a popup to pass the credentials. I don't understand why it is giving pop up instead of giving the form like CRM.

    here is the popup

If we see the pop up it is asking credentials on adfs server after three times entering the credentails it is giving Unauthorized error and redirecting to sts url.

Can someone help me out I am totally stuck :(
