Tanjay set to wrong time zone RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

I've recently updated a Polycom CX-700 to firmware version 1.0.522.101 and can no longer sign in with it as it receives incorrect time. I can see it sync with our NTP server but it's like it's set to US PST time zone rather than Australian EST. In addition to this, I have confirmed that our root CA is published in AD.

Prior to upgrading it, I could sign in fine (which makes me believe it was picking up NTP ok). Any ideas?

  • Did you configure a service record for NTP?

    SRV Record

    _ntp._udp.domain.com

    123

    ntpserver.domain.com

  • Yeah that's all configured. I follow the doco to the letter.
I don't think NTP is the problem actually, because on successful sign in it'll give the option to set the time zone. Looks to be certificate related I think, but our CA is published in AD and I can retrieve it using web autoenrollment.

  • Fixed this. It was because I was only specifying domain\username rather than domain.suffix\username.
