    Man, people are looking for help finding replacement system cd, after a hard drive failure. THEY CANNOT reinstalll from the . 

    HD, it crashed. Look at the post and try again. Geez.

    That's why the recommendation is always to make a backup copy of the disk!

    Windows XP disks are no longer available through retail channels or from MS.

    You will have to try the less-reliable route of either downloading from the internet (very risky) or purchasing a second-hand disk through somewhere like eBay (also risky)
