Just rebooted my pc and i have some stupid error message telling me that my hardware has been significantly changed since my copy of windows was installed. Which is wrong, no hardware has been changed since the pc was built in December 2005, i know, i built it. I run XP MCE 2005 and the pc is on 24/7. It now says i have 3 days to activate windows, but will not do it over the internet as it says the key has been used too many times. Even thought its only ever been on this pc. To reactivate it wants me to ring up, which i dont see why i should have to ring up and type the long digit code in, to be told i need to talk to a representative, who when i do get through, doesnt even speak english well enough to understand what i am saying. When i paid for and have the genuine copy of the os sat right in front of me. oh and the fact that is has passed every WGA since its launch and always stays fully updated.

If you call during normal business hours for your country, as a rule you will get a local or regional activation center that should "speak your language."
