    Hi guys,

    I registered and tested the pre beta version of Tahiti and provided some feedback via the forums.

     

    Now today I see via some newssite that a new version is available and that it got a new name.

    Glad to see there is a new one out and I'm eager to try it :-)

     

    But I have a few remarks:

    - First of all it would have been nice if you sent your pre beta testers a notification of the new release.

    - The previous forums seem to have been cleared/vanished?

    Hi Nick,

     

    Thanks again for the feedback.  We'll consider sending notifications for future updates.  Today we're using an update model much like Windows Live Messenger - the application simply notifies you of an update, and you can then click a link to get details and install the update.

     

    With regard to your second remark, the previous forums can still be viewed but are no longer actively monitored.  Beta users are encouraged to use the SharedView Beta forums.
