Only the first file transfer works per IM session RRS feed

  • Not sure if this is similar / related behaviour to other posts, but we have experiencing an issue where only the first file transfer is successful for IM sessions.  This is not related to IM filter settings, where the error message received on restricted file types is "Cannot send "[filtered filename]" to [recipient]."  Rather, users get an error message relating to network or firewall settings.  If they close the IM window and then open a new IM session to the same contact, the file transfer works fine, but then of course subsequent file transfers within the new session continue to fail in the same way.

     

    Anyone else seeing this problem, it doesn't come up a whole lot since most IM sessions may only attempt a single file transfer, and by the time users attempt to send a second file, one or both of them have closed the IM window, causing a new session to be set up anyway.  But it's annoying for users that do send multiple files frequently.

    Can you update this thread? Have you implemented the RTM version and confirmed this is still an issue.?
