  • Question

  • When I start my computer, Windows live one care does not start right away. I get a warning from the scurity center that my computer is not protected. After few minutes, Wndows live ine care starts.
Is there a way to change the start up so that windows live one care starts first before any other program, especially the internet?

  • No, there's no way to change the startup order. The reason for the problem is typically that the PC is low on resources, particularly if you have many programs and services starting when Windows starts. You may be able to avoid the problem if you remove programs from startup that you don't need. In OneCare, click Change Settings, Tune-up tab, Startup and select programs that are launching that you know you don't use immediately.
