Windows activation/validation problems...

Question
-
I have formatted my computer 3 times today and am not going to do it again. After installing Vista (32bit OEM) I activated over the phone. After installing some video card drivers I rebooted and got an error upon startup. It will not let me log into windows.
Error: 0xC002001B
Description: The remote procedure call failed.
Please help...I have had nothing but problems with Vista since I got it.

Now I do not receive an error. My system seems to be inconsistent when sometimes telling me that it is genuine and sometimes saying it is not. Whenever it is says it is not genuine the WGADiag says the Validation Status: Validation Control Not Installed.
I still receive the error (0xC002001B) about half the time I restart when Windows boots. It gives me the error everytime I start the computer with my CPU overclocked. When I change it back to default it will give the error half the time.Saturday, May 26, 2007 4:41 AM

It looks like your system has passed validation. Is that right?
If not, please post the error code you get (if any) when you validate by clicking "Validate Windows" here: www.microsoft.com/genuine
The error code will be gray and in brackets at the end of the message on the page that says validation failed. (It'll look something like this: [0xC004C000]).Thank you!

If this happens again would you follow this link to Product Support Services. Microsoft has a 90 day free support period that starts on the day you first acquire Vista. Thanks!
