    my subscription ran out. i could not remember my live one name and password

    so i set a new name and password and purchased the one care for a year.

    now it still will not work and says that i need to purchase a subscription when i just did

    please help

    Please go to http://billing.microsoft.com and sign in with your new LiveID to see if the subscription is shown as active. Confirm that this is the same LiveID that you are trying to activate with. It is possible that the online purchase hasn't propagated to the activation servers, since you purchased from the web site before activating (I wish they would remove that option!). Give it another try in 24 hours if you have confirmed the above at the Billing site and if you are still unable to activate with the confirmed LiveID for you new subscription, please contact support (which will be by email). Your new trial will run for 15 days plus a grace period of protection, if you reinstalled fresh.
