  • Question

  • Hi all,

Will the IRS accept Money's electronic records for proof of self-employment income (if one gets audited)?

I earned a little self-employment income last year, and I would like to list it on this year's tax return. Everything is documented in Money 2004, but my only hard-copies are in the form of deposit records.

    Regards.

  • Don't think the IRS will consider anything you created

  • I expect the IRS to accept your income figures, if your number is higher than 1099s  or other data they have about your revenues. They don't usually have people claiming more self-employment income than was really made.

My comment does not apply to expenses.

    I have no 1099s...only a W-2 from a previous employer.
