buy Vista, or not? RRS feed

I am seriously considering buying Vista for my home computers. I currently have about 25 computers running XP at work. There are no issues. My company is a H&R Block franchise. H&R Block just started shipping 64 bit machines for their franchise users. i would like to take advantage of that, by using a 64 bit OS. Vista seems to be ok so far, as I have downloaded a copy of it from Bittorent. I am using this at home at the moment. My problem is, is the ease of access people have to activate it. I did this with no problems at all. So my problem is, if I am going to shell out the money for it, and the licence, what is there to stop people from using a hacked version? Beside ethics of course. I would like to hear someones input on this matter.
