Help: Unable to validate windows. RRS feed

  • Question

  • First off, the problem is when I boot my machine, I get a message telling me to learn more online how to fix windows, I click it, and I have had this page open for 5 hours and it has yet to validate. and NO trolls, this is not pirated it came stock with my machine. I did a few updates to windows like normal, and I cant further update my machine because of this error>>>Error Code:0xC004D401 (Description: The security Processor has reported a system file mismatch error.)

    Model Computer: HP Elite m9426f

Yesterday (5/5/2011) I let me young sibling write a paper on my computer I use for high level of gaming. During their lease of my machine they manage to download a backdoor cycbot into the machine. Rendering my machine useless, I did a partition system recovery to factory settings. Upon completion of the basic set-up, I skipped registration, and other stuff to speed it up. I first downloaded and purchased Avast, as it was recommended to me. (Used AVG before, sigh). I changed a bunch of MCconfig settings to speed the boot up, removed the stock Norton that comes with the machine, and made a few normal downloads.

Here is the software I downlaoded:

Ventrillo(I had previously and worked fine)

    Avast

    Firfox

World of Warcraft (Worked fine before)

How can I fix this issue if there is a hot-fix to begin with. I have been waiting at the validation screen for far too long and I am growing very impatient. Help to anyone who has a resolution to this problem, thank you.

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
